CCSI fuels missions in Japan

Our school addresses one of the most common reasons missionaries leave the field: not feeling equipped to homeschool on their own, and lacking any English-based alternative. (A study lists “children” as the second greatest reason for missionaries leaving the field, after retirement. This is not limited to, but includes children’s education. [i])

CCSI gives a grace-based Christian education. MTW’s research shows that CCSI is the only Protestant Christian education option for its nearest 7 million people. By contrast, the state of Virginia (approx. 8.6 million people) has 105 Protestant Christian K-12 schools[ii].

We train the next generation of missionaries, simply because Christians in Japan are missionaries by default. They’re among the world’s second-largest unreached people group; thus, their Christian life is very much on display for a watching world.
